He was the one pushed boundaries of the brand and made LV mega-luxury empire.

While he was there, LV and Marc Jacobs did couple remarkable collaborations with artists.

One of the notable collaboration is capsule collection with American graffiti artist, Stephen Sprouse.

Stephen Sprouse’s punk-pop style of his creation gave lot of influence not only for fashion, but also arts, music and so on.

The first collaboration came out in 2001, and after he died of age 50, Marc Jacobs debuts another collaboration for his memorial in 2008.

March Jacobs found inspiration at Charlotte Lucy Gainsbourg’s house, when he saw black painted LV trunk at her room.

He was long time fan of Steven Sprouse and collaborations was made it happen.

The collection is fulled with eye-catchy graffiti in signature monogram bag, scarves and some apparel collections as well.

It was game-changing move by the Louis Vuitton, because of inviolability of famous monogram design.

The collections were sold out immediately, it is still one of the most memorable collaboration for the house.

Marc Jacobs shocked people put together Sprouse’s strong dishevelment of punk and LV’S traditional elegance under his magical direction.
